'Great property for a large extended family. This is our third year renting this house and every year it gets better. The newly remodeled master bedroom and bath on the first floor was beautiful. The location of the house can't be beat, walk to the pier, beach or downtown.'

'We rented this beautiful home for a second time this year and had a wonderful time! The view of Black Pond is still gorgeous! The downstairs master bathroom was renovated and is beautiful! We had a little bit of trouble with the oven being broken and the refrigerator taking a while to cool properly, but the folks at Chatham Vacation Rentals were very responsive and helpful. The owners were even kind enough to give us a small refund for the trouble. I would definitely rent from them again!'

'The way the Cape should be ... comfortable, graceful old home with stunning views and great location. Lots of room for extended family or friends both inside the house and on the grounds. The guest house is a small cottage unto itself and makes a great private space for the younger crowd. Rose Hill was a find and we can't wait to go back.'

'My extended family had our annual get-together at this house and it worked out very well. The house is in a perfect location, just up the road from Chatham Fish Pier, where you can walk down and watch the fishing boats come in and see seals swimming about. But, the other great thing about this house is that it has a beautiful view of Black Pond. We spent many hours sitting in the Adirondack chairs, catching up, and enjoying the beautiful view. The house was built in the 1930s and has a lot of charm. You can tell the owners have worked very hard to keep it in good condition. The bathrooms are a little dated, but not too bad. There's an adjacent cottage on the property with five beds, that also has an extra small kitchen and living room. The "Pilot House" area within the main house is a wonderful room where you can view Black Pond, visit, play games, or watch TV. They also just recently installed central A/C throughout the house. Everyone was very comfortable and we hope to come back again next year!'

'Beautiful property close to everything we Love! My family loved 111 Barcliff! There was plenty of room for our extended family and having the guest cottage was so helpful for extra sleeping space as well as kitchen space. Our favorite room was the Pilot Room with it's beautiful views, but we also loved the kitchen as it was spacious enough for everyone and was fully stocked. The absolute best selling point of this property, though, are the grounds. They are simply beautiful! The kids had so much fun running around and playing games and we all enjoyed being together outside. We often ate dinner out on the patio. The one suggestion I have for the grounds would be to install an irrigation system. It was pretty dry this past August and the grass and foliage were beginning to look a bit tired and brown, however, it was still lovely. There were many rooms in the main house so we had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen and most of the bathrooms are nicely updated, which is great. Some of the other rooms could use a little sprucing up. A few of the rugs are worn very thin to the point of having holes and the seat cushions on the window seat and chairs in the Pilot room are ancient and definitely need to be replaced. It certainly wouldn't prevent us from renting there again, but it would be nice to see those things upgraded and/or replaced. We loved being able to walk downtown and to CBI, the Lighthouse, the Fish Pier and all along Shore Rd. We went on many evening strolls that'

'The 111 Barcliff property is wonderful. Our family, consisting of grandparents, parents and grandchildren very much enjoy the house, cottage and grounds. The property is maintained very nicely and there is plenty room for all. The location is also great, with easy access to the downtown and to beaches. Chatham Vacation Rentals LLC is very professional and helpful. The rental process is painless. They even advised us by phone when the property opened up earlier on our Saturday start. We hope to rent the property again for 2023. '
